Clothing - Everything we do is active, so while chaps and spurs look cool, we recommend something a little more modern. Materials that wick moisture are best (polyester to be all technical) and if they have a SPF that's even better! Sleeves are great for blocking the sun. If you are going mountain biking with us, just remember that flappy pant legs and bike chains don't often get along.

Shoes -We'll want those to be tennis shoes if you please. Unless you are riding a bike with us and you have brought along your own bike shoes of course. Hiking shoes or boots are obviously a plus for hiking tours.

Headwear - On the mountain bikes, we always wear a helmet, but a hat can be great for keeping the sun out of your eyes pre and post ride, not to mention covering up the inevitable helmet hair. For hiking a hat will serve you well start to finish. Wide brims block more of those rays so for hiking they are handy.

Eyewear - We have a running joke around here that we have more sunglasses than we have just about anything else, and while we are obviously slaves to fashion, dang it if they don't make the desert sun a little more tolerable for the ol' peepers too.

Sunscreen - This may seem like a no-brainer, but most sunscreens recommend some absorption time. Don't worry, we have plenty of sun block to share, but if you can start with a slatherin' before we get started, we'll keep that tan a healthy glow instead of a lobster red.

Phone - Cell service is good in the valley and you are going to want to take LOTS of photos. Charge your phone up before your tour.
